Terms of Service

Effective: May 13, 2026

What this agreement is

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Hangar Hangar, LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of myadvocate.bot. By creating an account, installing our Chrome extension, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

myadvocate.bot is an AI advocate that talks to third-party customer support on your behalf. It runs as a web application at app.myadvocate.bot and as a Chrome browser extension that attaches to customer-support chat widgets on company websites. The service is currently in early access and provided free of charge. We may change this at any time.

Your account

AI acting on your behalf

When you use myadvocate.bot, you authorize the AI advocate to send messages to third-party customer-support representatives on your behalf using the details you provide. You remain responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of those details and for the outcome of any resulting conversation.

You can review what the advocate is saying at any time and take over the conversation yourself. You are expected to do so if the advocate is being asked to take an action you did not intend to authorize.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use myadvocate.bot to:

Third-party companies and platforms

The companies, support representatives, and chat platforms that myadvocate.bot interacts with on your behalf are not our partners or affiliates. Your relationship with each of those companies is governed by their own terms and policies. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from a conversation the advocate runs for you.

Not legal advice

myadvocate.bot is not a law firm, and the AI advocate is not a lawyer. Nothing it says to you or to a company on your behalf constitutes legal advice. For legal disputes, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Early access and changes

The service is in early access. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. We may pause or discontinue the service in whole or in part at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will bump the effective date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The AI advocate can and will sometimes make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing what it does on your behalf.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hangar Hangar, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). During early access, fees paid are typically zero.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account by following the steps in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, if your use of the service creates risk for us or for others, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Hangar Hangar, LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the service or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
